Open guideWhat is Steal an Employee?

Steal an Employee is a Roblox incremental simulation game built around infiltrating companies, taking employees, and escaping before the boss catches you. Successful hires can be seated at desks so they generate cash for your office.
Progression comes from upgrading desks, expanding the office, improving movement with speed and cars, and hunting higher-rarity employees. The game also supports competitive stealing, letting players bonk rivals and take their employees.

Office economy loop
How desk income turns into speed, and speed into better steals.
The office economy is one reinvestment loop: seated employees earn timed income, cash buys desks, floors, and speed gear, and that speed unlocks richer companies to steal from.
- Grab and train: hold E on a worker — the arrow marks the nearest grab — then wait for training to complete before the hire earns.
- Income is per seated employee and displayed at training completion; rates scale with employee grade and company tier.
- Cash recycles into extra desks, building floors, treadmill levels, trails, and cars from the dealer.
- Index claims pay milestone bonuses in both money and speed.
